What Music Impacted You? Part 4

Backing up a bit, high school brought Rafferty's "Baker Street" and it also brought Bob Seger's "Main Street."  Most other music I heard on the radio never really stuck with me--it was random Doobie Brothers, Little River Band, Eagles (if it wasn't Gloria Gaynor or the Village People or more disco).

I do remember my first taste of Bruce Springsteen, though. This skinny guitarist could tell stories.

Later on, Bruuuuuuce! was not so skinny.

David Bowie was always skinny, along with challenging gender stereotypes, and in '77 or thereabouts, he challenged the necessity of humans having legs.
